Qualifications

• Minimum six months’ custodial experience.
• Working knowledge of custodial equipment, supplies, and proper cleaning procedures.
• Record-keeping experience preferred.
• Minimum six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodians assigned to school.
• Supervise and assist with daily tasks and building openings/closings.
• Request needed supplies and equipment from district warehouse.
• Conduct frequent inspections of the school plant.
• Implement improvements in cleaning procedures when necessary.
• Maintain site custodial payroll records and submit reports.
• Oversee upkeep of the school during summer session.
• Supervise summer cleanup as directed.
• Perform other related duties to ensure efficient functioning.
• Regular and on-time attendance required.
• Work at special events as needed.
• Report facility repairs and equipment problems.
• Monitor daily work and complete specific assignments.
• Assist with other duties as appropriate to Mesa Public Schools.
