Job summary

Custodian - Salk Elementary School in Mesa Public Schools is seeking a reliable custodian to maintain a clean and safe school environment. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with second shift evening hours and a $17.12 hourly base rate, plus $.35/hr shift pay.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge and experience of custodial equipment, supplies, and proper cleaning procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties as required by district standards
• Perform many diversified tasks each day to maintain the cleanliness and safe condition of the schools
• Operate custodial power equipment
• Assist in moving equipment and furniture as required
• Regular and on-time attendance required
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
• Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools
