Qualifications

• Current state RN license in good standing.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitative nursing practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and execute nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with Nursing Director to strategize operations and emergency support.
• Coordinate nursing activities with medical requirements and care plans.
• Direct charge nurses to ensure proper resident care.
• Adjust care plans with medical staff to address emergencies.
• In absence of superiors, assume operating decisions as needed.
• Ensure relief staff availability before leaving and notify physicians of significant changes.
