True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for Building Operations to oversee the evening shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday) in a Connecticut healthcare and senior living setting.

Lead clinical and operational workflows, supervise RNs/LPNs/CNAs, manage emergencies, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes person-centered resident care, cross-unit coordination, and adherence to CMS/DPH guidelines, with direct reporting to nursing administration.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Connecticut.
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC or sub-acute settings.
• Supervisory/house supervisor experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and autonomous decision-making in a multi-unit facility.
• Experience with EMR systems like PointClickCare for clinical tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing operations across all units during the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift, ensuring high-quality clinical care and resident safety.
• Serve as primary clinical decision-maker for emergencies and off-peak events.
• Conduct regular rounds to oversee care delivery, meds, infection control, and charting.
• Guide staffing and resource allocation to maintain coverage and balance workload.
• Oversee admissions, room assignments, and end-of-shift handoffs with overnight leadership.
• Mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure compliance with Connecticut DPH and CMS guidelines and report incidents promptly.
