Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor (Building Oversight) for Connecticut facilities. You will lead the evening clinical operation from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring safe, person-centered resident care and regulatory compliance across the building.

You will guide charge nurses and CNAs, manage emergencies, and coordinate across units while reporting to nursing administration. Active CT RN licensure and 2–3 years SNF/LTC experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Connecticut.
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute rehab.
• Prior supervisory or house supervisor experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred.
• Strong clinical prioritization and autonomous decision-making ability across a multi-unit facility.
• Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., PointClickCare) for clinical tracking and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead building-wide nursing operations during the evening shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM, M–F) to ensure high quality care and resident safety.
• Act as primary clinical decision-maker for acute resident changes and facility-wide events during off-peak hours.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor evening care delivery, meds administration, infection control, and charting.
• Adjust staffing and resources to maintain adequate coverage and balanced workload.
• Oversee admissions, room placements, and physician orders; perform shift handoffs with overnight leadership.
• Coach and supervise evening RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Connecticut DPH and CMS guidelines; report incidents promptly.
