Job summary

Whitney Rehabilitation Care Center in Central Connecticut is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and support our nursing team on each shift.

You will supervise staff, ensure safe, compassionate care, assess residents, collaborate with physicians, and ensure compliance with regulations while mentoring the team and contributing to admissions, discharges, and care planning.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while fostering teamwork and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during your shift.
• Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
• Assess residents and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary team.
