Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active, and unrestricted California RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations applicable to skilled nursing and long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care in accordance with care plans and standards.
• Assess residents and respond to changes in condition; notify physicians when appropriate.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and care plans.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules for accuracy and completion.
• Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation; perform vital signs and specimen collection.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Coordinate resident care and support nursing staff; ensure safe handoffs.
