Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time evening shifts (2:00 PM–10:30 PM), 16 hours per week. Responsibilities include delivering individualized nursing care, coordinating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary staff, and providing education and care planning.

The role may involve charge nurse duties and delegation of tasks; licensure is required and practice follows state nursing laws and ANA standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license where practice occurs; multi-state licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to provide individualized resident care.
• Coordinate care and resident education with interdisciplinary team.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff within scope of practice.
• Adhere to Nurse Practice Act and professional standards.
