Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Brainerd partners with residents and families to deliver individualized nursing care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of health maintenance, prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

You may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks within licensed and unlicensed staff, while upholding the Nurse Practice Act and standards of professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Grad from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state where practice occurs (and multistate license if in an NLC state).
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident assessment, education, and nursing interventions; ensure safe, reliable administration of care.
