Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care across all phases of health maintenance and treatment.

The role may include coordinating care, resident assessment, and education, with potential to serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed or unlicensed staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA.
• Unencumbered RN license with the State Board where practice occurs and/or multi-state licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff within competence.
