Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan provides individualized nursing care to residents using the full nursing process during our Brainerd, MN shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, 16 hours per week with every other weekend and holiday.

You collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care, may serve as charge nurse, and ensure safe, quality care within state practice standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; RN license active.
• Maintain required department competencies and state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary team.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Ensure safe, quality care within nursing standards.
