Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Brainerd is responsible for using the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. You will collaborate with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of health needs.

You may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, and ensure safe, reliable resident care while adhering to state practice standards and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred.
• BSN preferred; RN license required in state of practice.
• Maintain required competencies and certifications for department.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care.
