Job summary

The long term care Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan – Bethany provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process to residents in Brainerd, Minnesota. You will collaborate with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Responsibilities include care coordination and education; potential to serve as charge nurse. Position details include 2pm-10:30pm, 16 hours per week, every other weekend/holiday, plus incentive pay for weekend hours

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and the inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment and education; serve as charge nurse when assigned.
