Job summary

Good Samaritan - Bethany in Brainerd, MN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents during 2pm-10:30pm shifts, 16 hours per week, including every other weekend and holiday.

The RN will perform assessments, coordinate with the care team, and ensure high standards of care within the full scope of nursing practice. Prior charge nurse experience and ability to delegate are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board where practice occurs.
• Obtains and maintains required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff while ensuring safe, reliable care.
