Job summary

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit/department.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to care for and counsel individuals in health promotion and disease prevention.
- Use AACN Synergy Model to identify patient needs and guide care.
- Delegate, coordinate, and manage all aspects of nursing care with the care team and licensed physicians.
