Job summary

Greene Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing in Stanardsville, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Supervisor for evening shifts. The Nursing Supervisor oversees clinical and administrative nursing functions, mentors staff, ensures high-quality resident care, and coordinates services across shifts.

This role requires an active Virginia RN or LPN license, 2–3 years in long-term care, CPR/BLS, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Virginia.
• 2–3 years of nursing experience in long-term care or geriatric settings.
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident care to ensure quality, safety, and dignity.
• Supervise nursing staff during assigned shifts and provide clinical support.
• Ensure shift hand-offs, documentation, and communication between teams.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and respond to emergencies.
