Job summary

Willow Creek Health Care Center in California seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the PM shift to supervise and coordinate day-to-day nursing activities and ensure quality resident care.

Under the DON/ADON direction, the RN will lead staff, administer medications, monitor care plans, and uphold infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active California RN license.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; no new graduates.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example and provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff during PM shift and ensure quality care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor resident care per care plans and regulations.
• Communicate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Assist admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols.
• Provide training and leadership to nursing assistants and LVNs.
• Maintain documentation and reports per policies.
