Job summary

Aventura at Walton Hills is actively hiring a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care, oversee daily clinical operations, and support a team of LPNs and CNAs. This role focuses on resident well-being, safety, and compassionate care within a senior-focused environment.

The RN will lead care plan development, administer meds, communicate with physicians and families, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining infection control standards and readiness for audits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• ADN or BSN required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident assessments and respond to changes in condition.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and care teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and follow proper protocols.
• Participate in audits, surveys, and quality initiatives.
• Educate residents and families on care and treatments.
