Job summary

Aventura at Carriage Inn is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. The RN delivers high-quality nursing care to residents, oversees daily clinical operations, assesses conditions, and supports a compassionate care environment.

The role includes supervising LPNs and CNAs, administering medications, developing care plans, documenting accurately, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Ohio RN licensure, ADN/BSN, CPR/BLS, and EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Ohio.
• ADN or BSN degree.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred; long-term care or geriatric experience is a plus.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and respond to changes in health status.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions.
• Supervise and delegate duties to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding resident care.
• Document care accurately and timely in accordance with state, federal, and facility requirements.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and medical situations.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, audits, and regulatory surveys.
• Educate residents and families regarding care plans, health conditions, and treatment options.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in our long-term care facility.
