Aventura at the Bay in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN) to lead the clinical team during Saturday and Sunday nights. This role emphasizes clinical excellence, supervision, and hands-on patient care in a skilled nursing setting.

Ideal candidates hold an active FL license, at least 2 years of long-term care supervision, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and emergency response skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in FL.
• 2+ years of LPN/RN experience in long-term care or similar setting.
• Prior supervisory/charge nurse experience required.
• Strong leadership, clinical, and communication skills.
• CPR/BLS certification (ACLS a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing staff (LPNs & CNAs) during weekend shifts.
• Serve as Nurse-in-Charge, ensuring smooth clinical operations.
• Oversee resident care, assessments, and care plan implementation.
• Respond to changes in condition and medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Coach, mentor, and support team members.
