Sentara Health Plans in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for onsite inpatient virtual support in the Centralized Virtual Acute Care Department. This role uses video-based nursing to assist bedside staff with admissions, discharges, patient teaching and medication reconciliation to enhance safety and patient experience.

Requirements include RN with Associate’s Degree (BSN/MSN preferred), active RN license, BLS within 90 days, and Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN-Associate’s Degree required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse License required.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS and ACLS preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide admissions, discharges, patient teaching and medication reconciliation via video calls to support bedside staff.
• Collaborate with bedside nurses to improve patient safety and workflow.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant communication with patients and families.
