Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Dublin, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-hour evening shift (3pm–3:30am) three days per week with rotating weekends and holidays. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient safety, and collaboration with the care team within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Qualified candidates will have an Ohio RN license, nursing education, and the opportunity to participate in Nurse Residency if new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs, 2 years of experience is required.
• New graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience are enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and ensures patient safety in a Magnet-recognized care model.
• Assesses and collaborates to develop a comprehensive plan of care with patients and families.
• Communicates pertinent information to the health care team in a timely manner.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately and completely.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided by other licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.
