Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to support patient care during evening shifts with a flexible 16 or 24 hours per week schedule. Base pay is $36.90/hr with applicable shift differentials, and benefits eligibility is noted.

The role focuses on safe, efficient patient movement through care episodes, direct nursing care delegation, and advocacy in line with the ANA Code of Ethics. Ohio RN licensure and BSN/ADN progression are required.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed RN in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Willing to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS or other certifications as determined by manager.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses patient needs and communicates priorities to team members.
• Plans, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Utilizes therapeutic communication to support patients and families.
• Participates in data collection, quality improvement and reporting.
• Documents care according to standards and procedures.
