Job summary

Cambridge Security Services is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Miami, FL to support safety and security operations at a retail location. You will perform foot patrols, greet customers, respond to emergencies, and deter crime as a visible presence.

The role requires strict adherence to company protocols on shoplifting and detentions, with a focus on professional conduct, clear communication, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug test.
• Maintain a complete uniform with clean, wrinkle-free attire and polished shoes.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide world-class service at store entrance.
• Conduct frequent store exterior patrols and monitor parking areas.
• Report vandalism or damage to the Manager-In-Charge and National Command Center.
• Observe for suspicious activity and deter shoplifting without detaining individuals.
• Assist with cash pickups and deposits as needed with Front End staff.
• Escort closing staff to vehicles when shifts extend past closing.
• Prepare clear incident reports for any incidents.
