Job summary

Cambridge Security Services seeks an Armed Security Officer to support safety at a retail store in Miami, FL. The role emphasizes world-class customer service, professional conduct, and adherence to shoplifting protocols while deterring crime.

Responsibilities include patrols, incident reporting, emergency response, and assisting with cash handling under supervision. Must hold Florida Class D & G licenses and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service by greeting customers at the store entrance.
• Conduct frequent walking tours of the store exterior and vestibule at least every 15 minutes.
• Inspect exterior for vandalism and report findings to the Manager-In-Charge.
• Scan parking lot for suspicious people and maintain site awareness.
• Direct vagrants or loiterers to leave the property as directed by the Manager-In-Charge.
• Escort Front End Associates during cash pickups and deposits when requested.
• Accompany closing staff to vehicles if needed due to late shifts.
• Act as a silent witness to shoplifting and avoid detentions.
• Respond to medical or fire emergencies and notify the Store Manager.
• Prepare clear incident reports for incidents involving customers or property.
