Job summary

Hannaford is seeking a Department Manager in Londonderry, NH to lead the assigned department, ensure product quality, presentation and service standards. You will hire, train and develop associates, manage inventory and financial objectives, and maintain store conditions, safety and sanitation in line with company policy.

In this role you will oversee staffing, performance, and customer experience, while using company tools and reports to drive performance and profitability within the department.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to multitask and learn multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated good judgement solving problems, making decisions, handling complaints and disputes.
• Desire and ability to lead and manage associates across multiple departments.
• College degree or equivalent preferred; Department Manager experience required.
• Must be accredited as Certified Food Safety Manager or able to obtain within 90 days.
