Job summary

Lincoln Village Healthcare Center in Lincoln, IL is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Supervisor to oversee the Respiratory Therapy Department. You will supervise staff, ensure licensure, and coordinate care under medical direction, with a focus on ventilator and tracheostomy care for residents.

The role emphasizes clinical oversight, regulatory compliance, staff development, and collaboration with nursing and interdisciplinary teams in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential in good standing.
• Illinois state respiratory care practitioner license is required.
• Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Oversight: supervise respiratory therapy services for residents with ventilators, tracheostomies, and complex conditions.
• Staff Supervision & Education: schedule, evaluate, and develop respiratory staff; ensure licensure and competencies.
• Regulatory Compliance & Quality: ensure CMS/IDPH/OSHA compliance; participate in surveys andquality initiatives.
• Equipment & Supply Management: oversee equipment maintenance, cleaning, and supply ordering; coordinate vendor service.
• Collaboration & Leadership: act as clinical resource to nursing and interdisciplinary teams; participate in care plan meetings and leadership meetings.
