Job summary

Lincoln Village Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Evening Supervisor to oversee respiratory services for residents with ventilators and tracheostomies. The role ensures clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and coordination of care under leadership in the Respiratory Therapy department.

Responsibilities include supervising RRTs, maintaining licensure, and participating in QAPI and care-plan meetings, with a focus on patient safety, infection

Qualifications

• Current NBRC RRT credential in good standing.
• Illinois state licensure in respiratory care.
• Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight of respiratory therapy services for residents with ventilators and tracheostomies.
• Supervise, schedule, and evaluate Respiratory Therapists; ensure licensure and competencies.
• Ensure CMS, IDPH, OSHA compliance and maintain respiratory care policies and protocols.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, cleaning, and proper use of respiratory devices; coordinate with vendors.
• Act as a clinical resource to nursing staff and participate in care plan meetings and quality initiatives.
