Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Equipment Technician to support the Respiratory Services team at the Thomas Campus. This part-time evening role (6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.) provides hands-on exposure to pediatric healthcare while working with Respiratory Therapists and clinical teams.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and current BLS certification, with preferred ECG technician training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and BLS certification are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Experience handling ECGs and maintaining respiratory equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock and maintain respiratory supplies; organize equipment for patient care.
• Perform ECGs under a Provider order and ensure proper documentation.
• Transport, clean, and prepare equipment for sterile processing and clinical use.
• Collaborate with RT staff and Biomedical personnel to ensure equipment availability.
