Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking an Evening Residential Support Specialist to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build independence and enjoy meaningful evenings at home and in the community. Schedule: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities.

Pay: $20.70–$24.70 per hour, bi-weekly pay. Paid training provided to learn individualized support plans and daily living tasks.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Hold a valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing with no more than five points.
• Successfully complete required background checks and onboarding.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist evening routines, meals, personal care, medication administration, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Help keep residential settings clean, organized, and inviting.
• Encourage independence by supporting tasks as able.
• Collaborate with team and follow individualized support plans.
