Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking Full-Time Evening Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with developmental disabilities in residential settings. The role focuses on helping residents enjoy evenings, develop daily living skills, and feel supported in their homes and communities.

No prior human services experience is required; paid training and ongoing support are provided, with opportunities for advancement into leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license in good standing with no more than five (5) motor vehicle points.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings during evenings.
• Help with personal care, meals, medications, and household tasks.
• Encourage independence and participation in activities.
• Maintain clean, safe, and supportive home environments.
