Job summary

Caswell Developmental Center, part of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, seeks a Health Care Supervisor to oversee residential operations and ensure quality habilitative care for residents with developmental disabilities. The role manages daily supervision of Developmental Technicians, coordinates schedules, and maintains timekeeping documentation.

Typical hours are 2 PM–11 PM with rotating weekends; the position is designated mandatory during adverse weather events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of related experience in supervision or developmental services.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision to 12-45 Developmental Technicians.
• Observes and monitors staff daily to ensure appropriate active treatment.
• Post and keep time records on Developmental Technicians, maintain accuracy of all assigned staff time records.
• Ensures completion of all documentation related to timekeeping and schedules staff to ensure safety and quality active treatment for all residents residing in the homes.
