Crossroads Health in Northeast Ohio seeks a Residential Specialist for the Northcoast House in Concord to support residents in short-term or transitional housing, focusing on independence and progress tracking. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in social work or related field, plus relevant recovery experience; a HS diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in social work or related field; 2-3 years related experience or training preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required at minimum.
• 2+ years of working with clients in a recovery capacity preferred.
• Experience with trauma informed care, motivational support, stage wise treatment, substance use, crisis de-escalation highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support with residents, teaching independent living skills and programs.
• Assist residents in building social support networks with family, friends, and volunteers.
• Collaborate with Community Support Treatment Workers and staff to monitor progress and support treatment goals.
• Provide crisis support as needed and help residents maintain stability; access additional crisis intervention when appropriate.
