Job summary

Community Housing Innovations Inc. (CHI) in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, NY, seeks a Shift Supervisor – Residential Aide to lead site operations, oversee staff, and ensure quality services aligned with CHI, OTDA, and funders.

The role requires strong leadership, fire-safety coordination, and compliance oversight. The position offers Tuesday–Saturday 4pm–12am hours, a competitive hourly wage, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred.
• 3+ years of verified homeless services management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; multilingual with Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Residential Aide staff and oversee weekend/overnight coverage.
• Coordinate fire drills and ensure adherence to DHS/OTDA safety guidelines.
• Oversee client meals and ensure food safety compliance.
• Submit internal/external reports in a timely and accurate manner to funders.
• Provide on-site training and feedback to staff; act as liaison with agencies.
