Job summary

Community Housing Innovations, Inc. (CHI) is seeking a Program Director to oversee the management and operations of a residential facility in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, NY. The role ensures residents receive quality services while maintaining compliance with housing codes and DHS/OTDA regulations.

The position is exempt with a salary of $95,000 and a Monday–Friday 8am–4pm schedule, plus on-call 24/7. The program emphasizes safety, independence, and cultural sensitivity in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Social Work or similar field required.
Combination of five years of experience in social services with at least three years of supervisory experience in social work or human services, program administration, and facilities management.
Experience with immigrants and immigration issues prioritized.
In lieu of a Masters degree a candidate must have a bachelor's degree in human services in addition to 5+ years of supervisory experience in human services.

Responsibilities

Oversee Residential Services ensuring quality and appropriate services per organizational principles and program requirements.
Lead Program Management to ensure compliance with contracts and deliverables; monitor KPIs and performance.
Manage Facilities to keep code compliance and safe, clean environments.
Supervise staff and manage general duties, including performance goals and documentation.
