Job summary

Vesta, Inc. is seeking a Residential Counselor in Severn, MD to support individuals with severe mental illness in our residential homes.

The role involves coordinating client care, daily activities, meals, chores, grooming, and medication monitoring, working closely with senior clients and staff. The position offers part-time hours Thu and Fri 3pm-11pm and Sat 8am-8pm with possible morning/2nd shift coverage during the week, along with comprehensive benefits including health, retirement, PTO,

Qualifications

• Ability to drive a 15-passenger van with valid license.
• Experience using eHR for daily notes.
• Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of mental health experience preferred.
• Experience providing skills training in residential/day programs.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness in residential settings.
• Coordinate client care and daily activities (meals, chores, grooming).
• Provide oversight in residential homes and monitor medications.
• Collaborate with senior clients and care staff to support linked diagnoses.
