Job summary

Vesta, Inc. seeks a Residential Counselor in Forestville, MD to support individuals with severe mental illness in a residential program. You will coordinate care and daily activities, supervise meals, chores, grooming, and medication monitoring, while collaborating with a team to ensure safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive a 15-passenger van and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Experience using eHR for daily notes.
• Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of experience in mental health preferred.
• Experience providing skills training in residential or day program settings.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client care and daily activities in residential settings.
• Oversee meal preparation, household chores, grooming, and medication monitoring.
• Provide supervision in residential homes for adults with severe mental illness.
• Work with seniors with various diagnoses and behavior disorders plus somatic care needs.
