Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Non-Certified Nurse Assistant for a part-time evening shift (6p-10p) to provide compassionate direct care to residents in a supportive community setting.

In this role, you will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents’ wellbeing, document care, and communicate changes to the supervising nurse. The position emphasizes dignity, safety, and adherence to policies while collaborating with a caring team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two to four years experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists with resident direct care and activities of daily living.
• Maintains resident room cleanliness and participates in restorative nursing.
• Documents vitals and care details, reports changes promptly.
• Supports infection control and safety policies.
• Assists with meals and nutrition monitoring.
• Respect and protect resident rights and confidentiality.
• Assists with admissions and training of new staff as assigned.
