Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a Radiology X-ray technologist for a full‑time evening shift (2:00pm–10:30pm) in Charlotte. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, verify patient identity, prepare contrast media, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver efficient imaging care.

The role requires ARRT accreditation, registry eligibility within a year, CPR certification, and the ability to assist with various procedures and record keeping.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 12 months of hire date.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under supervision.
• Documents patient history for each procedure on physician requisition.
• Confirms patient identity verbally and with proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as needed.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates imaging equipment and demonstrates proper positioning.
• Maintains required departmental records.
