Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a Radiology X-ray Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation. You'll collaborate with radiologists and staff to deliver high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires ARRT eligibility and CPR certification, with a 40-hour work week and a shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm. A sign-on bonus may be available based on eligibility and terms.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligibility with registry completion within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment and demonstrates correct positioning.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
