Job summary

Atrium Health Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations under the Radiologist, coordinating daily activities and ensuring patient safety and identification.

Graduate of ARRT-recognized radiologic technology program with registry eligibility within 1 year and BLS required; this full-time role offers benefits and a sign-on bonus eligibility, with shift coverage including evenings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date (BLS required).
• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Maintains patient records and adheres to departmental standards.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient population.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition.
• Confirms patient identification before procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and positions patients accurately.
• Maintains required records per policy.
