Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join Mercy Health Center of Jackson, with occasional support at the Plain location. Required ARRT credential, active state licensure and BLS; familiarity with anatomy and imaging equipment is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT(R) registered technologist credential in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• BLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions and report to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor patient priority and process billing.
