Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital is seeking a Registered Radiology Technologist to join a Magnet Hospital team committed to exceptional patient care and cutting-edge technology.

You will perform general radiology exams, ensure high-quality images, and educate patients while leveraging opportunities for imaging education and MRI/cat scan/ultrasound programs. Evening shifts and sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.

A caregiver in this position works varying evening shifts.

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Lifting or assisting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily

Pay Range

• Minimum hourly: $29.00
• Maximum hourly: $44.50
