Job summary

Eurofins USA Genomic Services seeks a QC Laboratory Technician I in Louisville, KY. The role runs Tue–Sat, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with responsibilities including daily product analysis and final release decisions based on established QC procedures.

The position requires a BS or high school diploma or equivalent, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to work overtime. You’ll support equipment maintenance, document results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• BS or High School degree or equivalent.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepared to work overtime during shifts or weekends if requested.
• Team player with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift 35+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Works and communicates effectively with QC personnel and other departments.
• Follows documents relevant to responsibilities (Work flows, Instructions, Batch Records).
• Makes Quality Control decisions according to specifications in a time-sensitive manner.
• Multi-tasks product analysis with attention to detail.
• Ensures proper daily operation of automated equipment.
• Keeps equipment and work environment clean and ready for use.
• Troubleshoots and corrects common equipment issues.
• Maintains accurate production records per Quality System standards.
• Follows health, safety and regulatory policies and uses PPE.
• Completes on-site training programs successfully.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
