Qualifications

• Prior experience in a public transportation system preferred.
• Must possess a Class D with Endorsement F driver’s license (minimum required).
• Must pass a pre-hire drug and alcohol test and will be subject to random tests.
• Must pass a DOT Physical and a DMV check annually.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from destinations using agency vans, including wheelchair-equipped units.
• Provide passenger assistance during boarding and alighting, especially for mobility-impaired clients.
• Record schedules, mileage, and time, and communicate schedule changes to central office.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily pre-trip inspections.
• Adhere to all safety rules, traffic laws, and agency policies.
