Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced evening shift registered nurse. You will plan, direct, and evaluate patient care during the 3:00pm-11:30pm shift and coach staff to maintain quality and safety.

The role emphasizes staff development, EPIC system expertise, and adherence to the ANA Code of Ethics. Starting pay is $39.90 per hour plus a $5.00 evening shift differential and a 32-hour work week.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current Ohio Nursing License required.
• BLS certification required.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the activities of a shift, directs, organizes, and assigns work to staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed and supports staff throughout the shift.
• Engages in quality improvement efforts and reports updates to staff.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and ensures safety, quality, and appropriate staffing within budget constraints.
