Job summary

Sensical Inc. is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for 2nd shift in Solon, Ohio. You will lead 2nd shift operations, coach employees, and ensure safe, quality, on-time production.

The role emphasizes daily workflow management, production metrics, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and communication are essential to drive accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience leading employees in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to monitor and interpret daily production metrics.
• Strong ownership of shift performance, accuracy, and on-time completion.
• Confidence managing multiple priorities without compromising safety or quality.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, and excellent follow-through.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities for the assigned department.
• Set clear expectations, assign work, and maintain production schedules and quotas.
• Meet productivity goals while protecting safety and quality standards.
• Monitor production metrics, identify issues, and lead practical improvements.
• Coach, train, onboard, and evaluate employees—including temporary team members.
• Promote a clean, organized workplace and a positive, accountable team culture.
• Maintain accurate reports for production, quality, attendance, and scrap.
• Track schedules, material needs, orders, and monthly customer forecasts.
• Enforce company systems, policies, procedures, and the ISO Quality Management System.
• Communicate goals, results, and priorities across all levels of the organization.
• Develop strong product knowledge and support effective problem-solving.
• Address performance or conduct concerns consistently and appropriately.
