Job summary

nVent in Solon, OH is seeking a Production Lead who ensures uninterrupted workflow in assigned areas. You will back up supervision, guide team members, and coordinate with support resources to resolve issues and meet daily goals.

The role requires 3-5 years in production or warehouse, strong safety knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems. You will help onboard new associates and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years production and/or warehouse experience.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems for production lead roles.
• Knowledge of safety policies and ability to promote compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide backup to the Supervisor for all assigned areas.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned area team members.
• Guide, develop, and train employees to meet production goals.
• Identify and escalate concerns to the Supervisor.
• Assist in interviewing candidates and onboarding new associates.
• Promote lean practices and participate in Kaizen activities.
