Job summary

BorgWarner Arden campus is seeking a Team Leader – Production to organize, develop, lead and supervise the manufacturing function of a designated area. You will ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met as part of a dynamic, local manufacturing team.

The role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement on the shop floor. Onsite responsibilities include daily scheduling and staff development.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the manufacturing function of a designated area to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Communicate and meet daily production schedules with the scheduling group.
• Performance of set-ups and changeovers with team assistance.
• Conduct quality checks and testing of assembled components at end of line.
• Ensure 5S standards are maintained and supervise continuous training of operators.
• Provide guidance, troubleshoot setup/tools/equipment, and escalate issues as needed.
