Job summary

ORBIS Corporation is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead high‑volume manufacturing operations. The role requires active floor presence, resolving production issues in real time, and ensuring safety, quality and productivity goals are met.

You will drive key performance metrics, balance production demands with people development, and partner with cross‑functional teams to implement process improvements. The shift runs 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., with frequent floor engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory leadership in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production processes and plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities with focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Be an active, hands-on presence on the production floor.
• Understand and support production processes, equipment, and product flow.
• Drive KPIs: safety, quality, machine and labor efficiency, on-time delivery.
• Balance operations with employee coaching, development and engagement.
• Support capacity planning and staffing to meet demand.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements.
• Provide staffing guidance, training, and performance guidance.
• Support forklift operators and production staff to ensure safe operations.
